What I measure
Vercel Analytics counts anonymous page views. Speed Insights measures how fast pages load. Microsoft Clarity shows interaction patterns and session replays. Google Analytics measures visits, referrals, navigation, and general device information.
Your choice
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights run for every visitor. They set no cookies, keep no identifier longer than 24 hours, and report only aggregate numbers, such as the page, the referrer, the country, and the browser and device type. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics can connect activity across page visits, so their code does not load, and they send nothing, until you allow analytics. If you do not decide, or you decline, I keep only the anonymous counts, and you can still use every part of the site. Read the Vercel Web Analytics privacy notes (opens in a new tab).
Saved preference
I store your choice, its version, and its date in your browser. Use Privacy settings, at the foot of every page, to change the choice. If you withdraw an earlier yes, Clarity and Google Analytics receive a denied signal, I delete their cookies, and the page reloads without them. The anonymous counts continue.
Reading place
When you read an essay, I store the essay and the last section you reached in your browser, so I can offer to continue from there on your next visit. I store no other text and send nothing to a server. Clearing your site data removes it.
KV cache calculator
The KV cache calculator looks models up on Hugging Face. When you type in its model field, or pick a model, your browser sends that text and the model's name to Hugging Face. Your browser sends nothing to Hugging Face until you type, pick a model, click the offer to look up the model you used last time, or open a shared link to a model, and I store none of it. I keep the last model you picked in your browser, and never your search text. When you return, a model from my own list opens at once. Any other model is only offered, and I don't look it up until you click the offer. Session replays never record what you type in the model field. Settings and providers
Analytics runs only on the production site. Clarity uses Relaxed text masking. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for 2 months. Read the provider notices from Microsoft (opens in a new tab), Google (opens in a new tab), and Vercel (opens in a new tab).
